Wind note
Northport crosswind does not care what you named the shot.
Air off the river from the west interviews a late face like a millwright interviews a loose nut.
A draw that only exists in still air is a costume. Northport will tell on it before Queen City Park does. We do not fit for a dome. We fit for a hinge that still has a hole when the river sends air across the face.
Cal's chit for this is specific: how late, which shoulder of wind, whether the player actually plays the Northport nine or only drives across for lunch. Lunch wind is not a fitting climate. Playing wind is.
If you want a still-air disc, say so. We will stamp it STILL and you can hang it next to the posters in the hallway. Do not take STILL onto a river-side tee and write us a complaint.
